Blessed at 40!

Today I woke up early and have given thanks to our dear Father God for all the blessings He has bestowed me.  My family makes it always special for me with their early morning greetings via sms and a birthday song.  I went to the church later in the day to pray with my dear Sister Rebecca.

No grand celebration but I am still happy and grateful.  Not too many friends remembered my birthday but family will always be there for me. 

Reaching 40 has made me more reflective of life and experiences.  I feel blessed and thankful for a lot of things.


1. Predestined - God has chosen me to be with Him in eternity. 
2. Trials of faith.   I have been through so many ups and downs in life but I am grateful to God for making me see the purpose of these.
3. Healing from all sickness. Grateful to the Lord for successful surgery.
4. Although I was orphaned at a very young age, God never failed to provide all my needs.
5. God has introduced me to people/friends who love to serve Him.
6. I was born into a poor family but I have contentment with what I have.  I don't stress myself wishing for material things.
7. Explored new places on my own.
